  New Managing Director will Serve Industrial Technology and Manufacturing Businesses

  ATLANTA, GA and RICHMOND, VA (January 5, 2012) - Cary Street Partners, a Southeastern-based investment banking and wealth management firm, today announced that David V. Duke has joined its investment banking team as a Managing Director in the Atlanta office. Mr. Duke will focus on serving middle market industrial technology and manufacturing businesses, with a particular emphasis on specialty chemicals, industrial machinery, and test and measurement equipment.

  Prior to joining Cary Street Partners LLC, Mr. Duke was a Co-Founder of FD Capital Advisors, the investment banking affiliate of Frazier & Deeter, a top 100 CPA firm, where he advised various industrial manufacturing and services clients. He was previously a Principal at Headwaters MB, a leading middle-market firm where he was member of the Industrials Group. In addition, he has held positions at a number of other Atlanta-based investment and merchant banking firms over his 20 year investment banking and asset management career.
