Happy V. Anderson
Vice President and Partner
Happy Anderson joined Cary Street in 2007 as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division. Prior to joining Cary Street Partners, Happy worked for two years in the Financial Planning and Analysis group for Circuit City Stores, a specialty retailer of consumer electronics and related services. Before working for Circuit City, Happy was an analyst for Ewing Bemiss & Co., a middle market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private placements of debt and equity.

Joseph M. Brower
Managing Director and Partner
When Joe Brower joined Cary Street Partners in 2007, he brought with him over 20 years of investment banking experience. Having held several senior banker positions within both regional and international institutions, Joe has amassed extensive expertise in the specialty areas of bankruptcy reorganization, distressed merger advisory, special committee advisory, and structuring of debt and equity investments.

F. Marcus Fariss
Managing Director and Partner
Marcus Fariss has almost 25 years of experience in investment banking and senior management roles in the financial services sector. He joined Cary Street Partners in 2005 and is currently a Managing Director in the Greensboro, North Carolina office. Marcus’s expertise includes mergers and acquisitions work, capital raising and strategic and financial advisory services. He specializes in the Financial Institutions & Services, Business Services and Industrial industries.

Charles D. Hurt III
Managing Director and Partner
Charlie Hurt leads Cary Street’s Atlanta investment banking team and its Consumer & Retail industry group. Charlie has nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking, finance and management. Prior to joining Cary Street Partners, Charlie founded and served as President of CDH Advisors, where he provided targeted strategic and financial advice to consumer product, retailer, restaurant and food and beverage companies.

Thomas H. Tullidge, Jr.
Founding Partner
Tom Tullidge brings to Cary Street Partners nearly 25 years of experience as a trusted adviser and senior executive having worked with a broad range of companies in structuring, negotiating, and executing mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate finance transactions in the United States and internationally. He is a co-founder of Cary Street Partners and serves on its Executive Committee and as a leader of its investment banking business.

Managing Director
Brett N. Bond is a Managing Director in Cary Street Partners’ Charlotte office. He joined the firm in 2012 and is focused on the firm’s specialty distribution and niche manufacturing industry efforts. Brett has nearly 25 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance and has successfully advised on over 70 middle market merger and acquisition, capital formation and strategic advisory assignments in a variety of industries.

David V. Duke is a Managing Director out of Cary Street Partners’ Atlanta office. He joined in 2012 and is focused on serving middle market industrial technology and manufacturing businesses, with a particular emphasis on specialty chemicals, industrial machinery, and test and measurement equipment. David has nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking, finance and asset management and has advised on over 40 middle market M&A, capital formation and strategic advisory assignments.

Managing Director
Craig joined Cary Street Partners in May of 2011 and leads the Energy & Commodities industry group in the firm’s Investment Banking Division. Throughout his successful 15-year career, Craig has led capital raisings and strategic transactions totaling more than $20 billion. The breadth and depth of his experience ranges from acquisitions, investments and restructurings as small as $3 million to managing a $9.6 billion corporate investment portfolio.

Alex Solomon joined Cary Street Partners in 2011 as a financial analyst in the Investment Banking Group in Richmond, Virginia.
Before joining the Cary Street team, Alex worked as an independent economic consultant for a variety of firms.
