Kim brings over 32 years of experience in trust, investment and retirement services to Cary Street Partners. She holds the Certified Retirement Services Professional designation (CRSP). Kim joined Cary Street Partners in July 2011 as a Financial Advisor. Her expertise includes trust and retirement planning strategies for individuals as well as employer sponsored plans. Kim previously served as a Vice President for First Tennessee Bank in Trust and Investment Services. Her responsibilities included personal trust and retirement plan administration. She worked with individuals in planning both for their current and future income needs. Kim worked with plan sponsors to ensure their retirement plan was structured efficiently to meet the needs of both the owners and employees.
Kim focuses on building relationships with her clients that not only help them recognize their financial goals and needs but that also create comfort. In an industry where recommendations to clients have become rote responses to pre-determined parameters, she believes that advice is personal to the specific client.
Kim completed the Cannon Financial Institute Retirement Services School in 2002. She also completed courses for her life & health insurance license in 2008 and passed her securities examinations in 2006.
Kim and her husband live in Limestone, Tennessee with their 2 children. She works actively with United Way in the health services division and volunteers with numerous other organizations within the community.
