Janice R. Gage

Janice Gage brings over 30 years of diverse experience in the investment business to Cary Street Partners. She began her investment career in 1980 working with commodity brokers at Shearson Loeb Rhoades in Washington, D.C. In 1982, Janice became securities licensed and later moved to the Fredericksburg, Virginia area in 1987. After commuting to Washington, D.C. for 10 years, she joined the Fredericksburg office of Wheat First Securities. Previously, Janice has also worked with Legg Mason and Raymond James. Her investment style includes separately managed accounts and as appropriate, a more traditional approach of individual equities, fixed income products and mutual funds.
Janice attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She is a charter member of the Women and Girl’s Fund which comes under the direction of The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region. She and her husband Phil are regular supporters of The Mary Washington Hospital Foundation, The Robert E. Lee Memorial Association, Fredericksburg Academy’s Annual Auction, The Fredericksburg Rotary Scholarship Fund, The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center and Ducks Unlimited.
Janice and Phil have lived in Fredericksburg, Virginia for the last 15 years. Their daughter is attending The College of William and Mary.
