Astrid R. Blazek
Senior Operations Specialist
Astrid Blazek brings over 20 years of experience in various logistics, customer relations and auditing positions to Cary Street Partners. As a Senior Operations Specialist, she is based in the firm’s home office in Richmond, Virginia.
Before joining the firm, Astrid worked for Stewart Wealth Management’s administrative staff dating back to 2003 and held the position of a Registered Financial Associate with the Cary Street Partners Fredericksburg office from 2007 until 2010. She also served the U.S. Government overseas for almost two decades. Astrid holds numerous FINRA brokerage and management licenses, and her day-to-day responsibilities include the operational and administrative oversight of branches as well as the transitioning of new offices.
Astrid’s philanthropic activities include many years of directing as well as acting in dramas and comedies at local theaters. She supports The Salvation Army and contributes to disaster relief as well as numerous veterans organizations. She and her husband, LTC (ret.) Tab Blazek, educate ROTC members from Old Dominion University on the history of Fredericksburg and the regional battlefields during annual field trips.
Astrid and Tab are residents of Fredericksburg, Virginia.
