Anita M. Lavin

Anita brings to Cary Street Partners 15 years of experience in the financial services industry through various positions held at Wachovia Securities, LLC and its predecessor firms.
Prior to joining the firm, Anita was a Vice President, most recently in Investment Advisory Products, where she was responsible for the firm’s mutual fund advisory programs. Assets within these programs totaled a combined $41 billion. Anita’s responsibilities included facilitating and implementing firm discretion mutual fund investment decisions as well as product development and product management oversight. Formerly, she was the Consulting Services Sales Desk Manager at the firm. She also participated in the development and management of the advisory fee-sharing program, Strategic Partnership.
Anita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education and a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University. Anita currently resides in Richmond, Virginia.
